Introduction
The combined history of three companies empowers us to make suitable decisions in providing only the very best in service
I started the business in 1982 in the Ancient Stannary Town of Tavistock in Devon and soon after opened a Distribution Centre in Plymouth. The workforce at the time consisted of myself and two part time staff, so different to the current workforce of close to 75.
Throughout the eighties the company continued to grow and in 1992 acquired Ham & Sewell, another local company but with strong links to the Cornish economy. At this time the turnover of the company had grown to £2m.
Throughout the next ten years the company continued to grow, becoming on of the largest suppliers to offices in the
South west and gaining numerous awards along the way, a highlight being the Supplier of the Year award from British
Aerospace. We were also one of the first to gain ISO14001 and ISO9001.
The ethos of the company has always been to exceed our customers’ expectations; this was the case in 1982 and
is still our number one ambition.
